Hope with Feathers II Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Concert
Presented by the Howard County Chinese Cultural Center (H4C)
The refreshing fall breeze reminds us that the mid-autumn is coming. In this eventful year of 2020, the pandemic distances us, but friendship and family ties draw us closer. At this traditional festival for reunion, many must stay apart. To commemorate the love we’ve been giving each other during the difficult time and to celebrate the joy and wellbeing of our loved ones, the Howard County Chinese Cultural Center (H4C) presents the 2nd “Hope with Feathers” virtual concert on October 17.
This virtual event features renowned Chinese musicians from both China and the United States including Professor Yu Huicheng, Director of the Vocal Department of the Wuhan College of Music, Mr. Deng Weimin, National first-class erhu performer, Ms. Zhang Lili, Director of the Jasmine Guzheng Art Gallery, and various artistic groups in the Greater Washington DC area. Highlights of the program would be Professor Yu Huicheng joining her daughter in the United States to present the song "Quiet Night Thoughts", Mr. Deng Weimin's erhu solo "Grapes are ripe", group dance "Blue Dragonfly" presented by Lingge Dance Studio, dance and sing-along presented by the Patuxent Athletics League. We wish the beautiful music and performances will give you and your family a joyful evening and bring blessings to you and your loved ones.
